The castle stands at the entrance of the old town of Gallipoli, a city that has always been fortified and contended for its strategic location. The manor has changed its aspect and its function over the centuries: from a historical defensive fortress to a modern container of culture and knowledge, thanks to its events and local and international exhibitions.
